EAST WEST

It is told that here the great opponents meet; east and west, quicksilver and wool, Capricorn and Cancer, utopia and eutopia. Streets are forming winding wood staircases, like in the Residents Mole -movie. Streets are lined with miracles, conjurers, telvangelist stormkeepers & pinhead crystal-channelers.

The residents are mostly real abo´s, decaying hippies who lost their way home in 68 and still run after ganja or kali, chillam after chillam full, roaring with laughter. They are living in tiny bungalows perched on a steep pine-tree misty hillsides of Kangura Mt. Some of them live in parsatis, shacks on the roof terrace, where their lighting is the moon.


At nights drums with strange, almost African syncopation, totally unclassical, primordial & yet insanely complex. Best just before the monsoons, otherwise mud-slides are blocking roads.
